A warm welcome from the Southern Comfort Guest House, Christchurch, UK

About your Host

Host Southern Comfort Guest House, Christchurch, Dorset, UK

Louise owns & runs the guest house whilst also looking after her young family. Having spent over 25 years in the Corporate IT world including living in the US for 2 years she then returned back to Berkshire for 14 years. After enjoying commuting to London and travelling overseas for a few years Louise was the ready to fulfil dreams of living by the sea. A new venture began when she & her Partner Mark took over Southern Comfort in 2017.Mark lives onsite too and helps with maintenance and staff cover, so you may see him around too.
They ran the tired guest house for 6 months as it was when they took over and then decided to close January 2018 to take on a big 3 month refurbishment.
When not on duty or working Louise & Mark will be working on their project sail boat 'Avocet' or grabbing a quick sail around Christchurch Bay in the Summer months. Louise and the kids also love spending time at the New Forest the beach swimming or paddle-boarding.
